Progressive Financial Solutions has been named a finalist for Client Servicing Company of the Year at the 2026 ifa Excellence Awards.
About the Awards
The ifa Excellence Awards are a national program recognising the businesses and professionals working across Australia’s financial advice sector. They run across thirty categories in 2026 and cover the full breadth of a practice, from individual advisers and paraplanners through to licensees, support teams and whole firms.
Entries are submitted by the firms themselves and assessed by an independent judging panel drawn from academia, business and the advice industry. Shortlists are published ahead of a gala evening in Sydney, where the winner in each category is announced. This year that evening falls on 3 December at the Hilton Sydney.
Ten firms from around the country were shortlisted for Client Servicing Company of the Year. Ours is one of them.
What the Award Means
Most recognition in financial services attaches to advice at the moment it is given, the strategy, the Statement of Advice, the recommendation that gets made. This category is concerned with something else entirely. It asks what happens in the years afterwards.
That is a harder thing to point to. It is the phone being answered by someone who already knows the file. It is a review meeting that is genuinely a review rather than a sales conversation under another name. It is the same adviser still being there when circumstances change, a retirement, an inheritance, a move into aged care, the sale of a business, instead of the client being handed on to someone new. And it is advice that carries across a family, so that when it becomes the next generation’s turn to make decisions, they are not starting from scratch with a stranger.
None of that shows up in a single piece of advice. It shows up over years. Being shortlisted in this particular category matters to us more than most, because it is the part of the work we have deliberately built the practice around.
